Striper15
I have always used U-40 Cork Seal for all my cork handles with great results (http://www.u-40.com/corkseal.html). I recently bought a rod with foam grips and was wondering if there is a similar product out there for foam. Thanks for any insights! Lure--Prof
When I was guiding I had about a dozen foam-gripped downrigger-style rods in frequent use that required cleaning on a regular basis. I found that the combination of dish soap and elbow grease worked better than anything else I tried, to keep them ship-shape. You don't hardly realize how funky they can get, until you see the difference a good bath makes! I never heard of anything though, that might have kept the dirt at bay.
