pigdestroyer
I want to post the baits that I designed a while back online for sale. Just looking for a little help/recommendations on colors. I want to start out with about 10 basic colors. Any info on which brand of colors to use/purchase would be appreciated. I don't need your recipes, just the colors and brands used. I haven't had the time or money to purchase and test them all. Thanks in advance for any replies. Here are the colors I want to start with: Watermelon Green Pumpkin Junebug Oxblood Black/Blue ...any other red/purple recommendation? jimcline
If you're making sticks, I would recommend a watermelon/purple flake combo. I catch almost as many bass on them as green pumpkin. JIM

outdooradvantage
You can find those colors at Lure Craft, Bears Baits, MF, and Del's. I use colors from all of them and have found that they all serve a purpose. Hope this helps and feel free to PM me for any additional info. Jeff...... pigdestroyer
Thanks for all of the suggestions. Can anyone give suggestions on what brand to use for each color, or what they found (from experience) works best for the colors listed. e.g. Watermelon - MF 3342 Watermelon (non-bleed)

The Dutchman
MF's Watermelon Brown with large black flake (62) is a killer craw bait color. Especially for smallmouths. Also, three inch sticks in same color dropshotted is great.
bojon
If only it was a simple as black, and white.I could save my back hauling around all the different colored lures.
MTfishingrods
It would be a whole bunch cheaper and easier than having to stock all them colors and making up new ones. But what fun would that be?
