MarcDavidBaits
Hey Guys, I am about to order some paints. I did searches in the forums and can't find an answer. Do any of you know what createx paints will make a bone color? Thanks. Edited February 14, 2009 by Bass Whisperer
clamboni
Haven't mixed it up myself, but I'm pictureing starting with opaque white, mixing in a good amount of opaque yellow, and a little transparent light brown. If you don't mind a little pearl in it, you might try lightening some satin gold with opaque white.
BobP
"Bone" varies to suit individual taste. I start with mostly white, then add yellow, brown and gray a few drops at a time until I get the color values I'm after. More yellow than brown or gray. Birdman
I don't know what colors createx offers, but usually a cream is a good start. If it is not the shade you are looking for (find a bait that has the hue you are after) start mixing small amounts. In the past I've started with a flesh tone, mixed in amounts of white and brown and BINGO
