CUTTER
I am just getting started in trying to make hollow swimbaits. I was wondering if after the first dip when still hot I could add powder paint to the plastic then re-dip a clear coat of plastic over the whole bait.Trying to get away from painting with air brush and still have a nice contrasting look on the back of bait. nova
I don't use an airbrush; although I've tried it and I'm a little concerned about the explosive vapors with the thinners needed. I plan on trying it again using a different type of paint. Go to my page and look at the pics to see what you can do just by dipping. www.novalures.com
CUTTER
Nova - I hope mine come out 1/2 that good. they realy look great. You are dipping them right. Thanks
nova
Thanks Cutter. They are all dipped. There is only one color scheme that I do use a brush to apply some "magic" powder. www.novalures.com
KAOS Tackle
If you do use an airbrush stick with water based paints like Createx and thin with windex and you'll be fine.
