cintaskevin
Anyone using a blow torch to finish your swimbaits? I hear it gives a glossy finish to the baits.
satterly
I use a heat gun for finishing. Less worry about overheating with it and provides a nice gloss.
nova
I use a micro torch but mainly for cold cracks or slight imperfections. Heat gun sounds interesting though for larger jobs. www.novalures.com

mradamh
This model is the perfect size for me. Got it on Amazon...I think I paid around 30 bucks for it. It's probably cheaper than that these days...There are larger size micro torches out there too... Here's a link to their site: The Pencil Micro Torch PT 4000
satterly
I got a small soldering torch off the snapon tool truck that does good for patching stuff and I also use it to attach eyes on plastics. Should be able to pick one up at any hardware store
gunnie3035
If you want a shine then add a little white pearl powder to your plastic. If I get a cold crack or imperfection that I cant live with the bait goes back in the cup, in my tackle box, or in the trash.
