cedar1
I did a search and couldnt find anything on this. Is anyone making coffe baits?
Richard Prager
If you're referring to the scents used, I just saw it on Bear's site at Bears Baits Calhoun Plastic Presto Pouring Pots made by Upper Hand
D.J.
I think a lot of us on here are pouring with Doug's(Upperhand Scents) coffee/ shad scent. It is amazing stuff to say the least. The smallmouth up here seem to really like it. I also use coffee grounds, which really give the baits an earthy tone that I like.
Richard Prager
Grinding fresh coffee beans and using in place of flake works well also. Watch for bleeding, though. There were several interesting threads on this a while back. I had some good success using it with Brown Watermelon baits.
daveh
LC has some potent coffee scent. cooked it in some plstic and stunk up the house for a week. now i just put a few drops on finished baits. keeps me out of trouble that way.
