Dye or not to Dye

Recommended Posts

I'd bet after the tail hits the water, any sweet smell will go away and not be an issue. I don't use K-aid, but that's what my opinion would be. Are you sure you don't smell anything before you dye it?

Great link as to processing the bucktail, but after you tac it down, scrape all the fat off of it that you can get, then borax/salt it. If there is any fat on the tail when dying, it will affect how the tail takes the dye when that fat melts down and into the solution. The vinegar/acid helps the hair take in the dye.
