Bountiful Waters
Does anyone have the recipe for the "cola" color like the Jackall Cover Craw? I tried a combo of Pumpkinseed and red, but cannot get it dark enough that way. This was a special request and do not want to ruin anymore plastic trying to match it. Richard Prager
Rootbeer and ____, maybe?
JDBaits
I see a lot of black grape in that color
nova
I tried once to match a color just like that by Case Plastics called natural. It's a really productive color. I went through a lot of plastic trying and just couldn't get it. If I remember right the closest I came was with amber and strawberry. If you get it let us know. www.novalures.com
Bountiful Waters
I keep seeing red for some reason. Black Grape? Anyone else see that as well? Seems like it would be an easy match, but so far, it has not been.
squigster
Unless my eyes are deceiving me it looks like rootbeer and a drop or two of Dels Blue fleck. Its kinda hard to tell becasue of the lighting. I you hold it up against a light at least you may be able to see the color in it if it predominantly red or rootbeerish. Smallie
Here is a lighter picture. I see a reddish tint in the thick sections and kinda brown in the little hoop legs. Rootbeer and strawberry might do it.
HAWGHUNNA
Del's Brown & a hint of Dels Night Crawler is what I used to get pretty close. This color is not transparent.....at least not with the flick shake worms.
