ScottSC
Has any one made or tried to make a mold for this bait? Also, anyone tried to copy the recipie for salt/plastic content in this bait? I have thought about making a plaster mold, but thought I'd post here first. thanks, ScottSC
Long Lake Lures
Lurecraft has come out with their #901. Pour from the tail first and use fine salt. Give Kim at LC a call for more details. Hope this helps, Dave
ring fry
I've got a four cavity, bondo mold and a 3 cavity silicone mold that I made. I throw a bunch of swim senkos and the ones I've made have caught some good fish. I mixed 502 and 536 about 50/50 and added a little hardener to get it close to the hardness. The salt, I put in a coffee grinder to make it powder and it came out good. SE Kansas grass grower
JDBaits
Lurecraft has come out with their #901. Is this the correct number? I looked up #901 on the website but came up with no results. Id be intrested in a swimming senko mold, if lurecraft no longer sells this mold maybe a kind TU member will be intrested in making one for me
BassnRandy
Email Kim. She is quick to answer. They are making new molds all the time and they don't always get them listed right away.
Long Lake Lures
JD, The 901 is not on the website yet. I went there a couple of weeks ago to pick up supplies and as I was looking over the molds they were sitting there on the shelf. As I recall they are about $15/ea. I tried making a 2 part mold out of DWP and didn't like the result. I am contemplating making a silicone mold and thought that the 901 would be a good starting point. Best wishes, Dave
