Artificial All The Way
Has anyone added oil such as Bunker oils to there baits? If so when? Before heating or after? Thinking about making some to troll and know scent in the deep triggers more strikes. Proved this many times by just tipping a lure with a sandworm and dragging 4 without. Thanks Jay
nova
I don't know what a Bunker oil is but what I have found is that you add the scent oils to the plastic before you are ready to pour. Make sure you stir it in well. After you pour the baits you can always add some scent to the baits in the package for an added boost. www.novalures.com

Artificial All The Way
Thanks guys. Nova bunker oil is just that. Oil from Bunker (menhaden). Stinky bait fish that Stripers suck down. Same stuff they make most of the Fish oil pills from. Now that I think about it I might just make a pocket in the lure to hold some oil or a sponge that I can soak in it. Then just dip the lure in a bag of oil every little while.
