jrhopkins Posted March 28, 2009 Report Share Posted March 28, 2009 here's an easy lure stand you can make using romex ( solid core ) electrical wire. pull the insulated wire out of the sheathing. about 12" long. make a jig to bend the wire. bend the legs 90 degrees and connect the two sides with excess insulating cover. pictures are pretty self explaning.you can adjust the size by the position of the jig nails and the stand is bendable to suit adjustments you may need to stand a particular lure. i can make approx. 100 of these for about $15 for the romex. you can also do a better job of straightening the wire first than i did;). in a hurry:o.
