longhorn
Elmer's can also be painted on full strength if you can reach the entire surface of the cavity with an artist brush. This is actually better than flooding if you have only one or two cavities. I use flooding when I'm making a 10 or 15 cavity mold and am too lazy to paint all of them. Just thought I'd throw this in. Good Luck.
Artificial All The Way
This was a 10 cavity mold of 9" sluggo's. I cut the Elmers by half and did 5 coats with oven heating at 200 for a half hr each coat. Then I did the next coat and fell asleep wit the mold in the oven. 6 hours later the mold was cooked nice. Has a nice hard clear coating now. Going to test the pouring as soon as my 200 dollar order shows up. Quite. don't tell the wife.
