Vodkaman Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 For wire gauges, I think the popular standard is AWG (American wire gauge) 18 AWG = 0.0403 20 AWG = 0.0320 22 AWG = 0.0253 The figures that you have quoted are SWG, which is a UK standard. The question is really, which standard is in use with your wire supplier.
