Snax
Just threw together a little video showing the action of the Featherlite resin jerkbait. As you will see it works pretty much the same as the ones made of wood. I know several of you were wondering what if any change in action there would be using Featherlite. Check it out... RiverMan
Looks like it is working better than those I have tried in the past. I would like to see it in an area with no river current..... Jed Edited April 3, 2009 by RiverMan
Snax
I did also cast it in another spot where the current was almost non existent but the lighting was bad for filming. The action was exactly the same. It also worked the same way going across the current which surprised me. You taught me well Jed.
RiverMan
Good, for you, it is a good looking lure! Mine just came in like a wet sock, lol. RM
Snax
Were you using Featherlite Jed? If not a denser, less buoyant material wouldn't work as well for sure. As you taught me, it's all about ballast and general shape/thickness to make a glider work.
RiverMan
No, I was using a two-part resin and it probably wasn't as light as the FL. When I get time I will have to pull out the molds and give it another try. Jed
