Richard Prager
I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Pictures 1 and 2 are are baits sold by another company (they call it mocha) as the same color but they are inconsistent in their reproduction. Anywhere in between the two would be fine. The third one maybe some brown watermelon and ? I can come up with plenty of good colors from scratch. But when it comes to matching, well....forgetaboutit! :eek:Any and all help is appreciated. I will be making various worms without salt.

bass4cache
Mocha-Per 1 CUP of plastisol- 6 Drops DelMart Brown, 1 Drop mf white 2 Drops lurecraft black. This oughta get you into the right range for the Mocha. The green watermelon/pumpkin & copper flake color could go alot of different ways. I think Dels Green Pumpkin maybe a dead ringer for that one but its hard to tell. Have fun! Kent Edited April 5, 2009 by bass4cache Come on Global warming I want to Bass fish in Alaska! Richard Prager
Thanks for the responses so far. I don't have brown. Any suggestions with what to do about that or replace with? It doesn't have to be exact, just in the same family. Richard
bass4cache
Well you should be able to mix Primary Red and Green to make brown.

alsworms
Definitely watermelon brown on the second color. As for the mocha, that's just a touch of MF's cinnamon. However, if you don't have brown or cinnamon, maybe try a drop of LC amber brown?
Richard Prager
Thanks, Chris. I have both those colors and was thinking maybe that. I haven't used the Cinnamon yet but I guess I'll try that first. The bait seems to have a little red in it. Like I said, as long as I get close because the customer's baits vary a lot from bag to bag.
Long Lake Lures
The first one looks like a light LC's spiced rum with white Pearl powder. Hope this helps. Dave
COBRA
first two look like pumpkin seed with hardly any drops. then the last is a light green pumpkin. make the light pumpkin but a little darker than the first two then add a drop of watermellon, maybe even a drop of chartreuse to keep it light. TEE
I use Del's Nitecrawler and it seems to be a lite brown with almost a very slight purplish sheen to it. In the picture, the reflecting part almost has some tint of purple to it, very little, maybe that is the red you see...I dont know, that's a good one. Guess I am blind too...they always said you would go blind if you did it too much:lol:. T

I will be making various worms without salt. Just to follow up after everyones' help. Pictures 1 and 2 (Mocha) were 1 drop for the lighter and 2 drops for the darker of M-F Cinnamon in 4 oz plastic. The other one was M-F Brown Watermelon and a touch of floured salt to cloud it up a bit. All three were dead on! Thanks
