Black Blade
Just wondering how much color to get. Just starting out in making plastic and was going to get 4-1 gallon jugs of plastic, a few worm moulds, a few basic colors. Was thinking of getting 4 oz bottles of the colors...how far would this go in light of the amount of plastic I am planning on getting? The moulds are 6" worms and some senko style as well. The site looks like its going to be a great resource for a newbie like me...thanks in advance!

Zbass
Welcome! Your coloring will go a long way. Which brand of coloring are you gonna get? Some are a little more concentrated than others. You could get by with getting 1 or 2 ounce bottles instead of the 4 oz and get more colors. Here are some places that have colors and plastic supplies: www.bearsbaits.com www.lurecraft.com www.m-fmanufacturing.com
Black Blade
I have been looking on Lurecraft's site. I was just thinking of getting natural, black and white for now, since these are the most commonly used colors I use. After those the choice gets kinda boggling...all the different shades of green etc...lol.
Richard Prager
I would definitely get more colors. What are you going to do with 1,000 black, white and natural worms? Take a look at some of the color recipes. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/soft-plastics/643-soft-plastic-cookbook.html
Bountiful Waters
First, You can normally buy 5 gallons buckets of plastic cheaper than buying 4-1 gallon jugs of plastic. Color wise, buy your favorite colors in 2 or 4 oz bottles.

Black Blade
Thanks again for the info fellas! Presently, I live in Oshawa but by July will be relocated to North Bay. Looking forward to getting back closer to home (born and raised in Deep River..good ole Ottawa Valley boy!), got family all up through there on up to Cochrane (haven't fished up there since was a kid) Ontario has that one draw back...more lakes than you got years to try them all out! Will contact Mike thru his website, for sure...sounds alot simpler and helping out a fellow canuck at the same time.
