you have to do alot of retooling, add additional controls, add additional heaters, reconfigure drain heater controls, add additional insulation, reconfigure mixer, add additonal thermecouples, there is alot of work to get one to work properly. holding pressure is an issue, you have to have a good working knowledge of controls(process instrumentation). they will give you the names of people who can help you to get one working. good luck

I would recommend you getting a presto pot, if you have the tools, ( drill, drill bit of correct size, smallest that works is 9/16",and tap for 3/8" nipple). You can build the pot your self, and then order a stirring system from Bear. If you don't have the tools, you will have trouble building the set up for price Bear sells his pots. Do searchs and compare. But pots do pour well and are easy to use and clean up.

The Presto Pot for the money is a great tool. we recommend using about 2 to 3 quarts max in the pots. That seems to be the most efficent amount to pour at a time. With 2 of the pots working and if you have enough molds 1 man can pour 400 plus baits an hour. For the money and ease of use the Presto Pot can not be beat. If you have questions or need help building one let me know

Depending on the plastic and your personal preference as to how thin you want to pour it. sees most use 350 degrees and if you have infrared Thermometer the dial on the Presto Pot will not be exact most of the time. Let me know if you have any questions with it. Leave the stirring motor ON from time you start until you finish that way it does not scorch on you at all.
