Markell
A technique that I want to work on this year is "swimming a Jig". I am going to make a bunch of white (baitfish pattern) jigs for this. What would be a good general idea of the type of jig head and hook for this technique? I would think that a 30 degree hook would be the best hook option. What are your opinions? Thanks!
siebler_custom_baits
I use a arky style, bannana, or worm nose for swimming.
jigmaster
Lots of options. Minnow head molds would work here. I am rather partial to large hooks on even small heads.........like a 3/0 hook ona 1/8 oz head works for me. A good ole' ball head works ok, too. Lots of folks tie hair jigs on old fashioned ballhead jigs.
