mikefishnfl
I've done some reading but haven't found what im looking for. Does anyone know where to get collars like used by Strike King on their "perfect skirts"? Here is a photo of them:

"#1"skirts-lures
The Perfect Skirt (Strike King) and EZ Skirt (Z-Man/ChatterBait) are privately branded versions of the patent pending Easy Hub skirt design created by GLC Fishing. The hub is made of silicone and consists of male and female components. Silicone skirt strands (typically 70 strands) are hand positioned around the circumference of the male piece, liquid silicone is applied, and the female piece is compression vulcanized to the male piece, thus permanently securing the strands in position and creating an easy on/easy off lure skirt with a "perfect' umbrella and precise color placement. GLC Fishing is working now on a do-it-yourself kit for making Easy Hub skirts, and should have it out this summer. They distribute their products in the US through Z-Man Fishing Products (www.zmanfishing.com) and Skirts Unlimited (www.fishingskirts.com). You can visit their website at www.GLCFishing.com for more information on the Easy Hub skirt and all of their skirting products and lure components. george12182
Another skirt similar, is the hole-in-one skirt. I think it looks better than the ez skirts. Bassdozer sells them on his ebay store. He also sells the easy skirt. I know this isn't the answer you are looking for. I've searched this topic extensively and their is know way to easily do this that I'm aware of. I've heard trying to do this with the umbrella collars is difficult and inconsitent.
