ROWINGADUBAY
I'm trying to find someone that sells platic skirt bodies for inline spinners I found the brass ones o.k. but I'm looking for something cheaper since you can't see the body once it's covered . Thanks for all your help.
Fatman
are you talking about a skirt for the hook??? or a covering or replacement body for the spinner??? If the body they have large size oval beads but it's tough to get the spinner going as theirs no weight to the spinner. Got a photo to clarify exactly what you want. ROWINGADUBAY
I'm looking for a plastic piece that will hold on a plastic skirt to an inline spinner looks like a plastic tube with a groove in it where the rubber collar will sit and hold .The wieght from the spinner will come from the brass body and the keel wieght. Here is a pic of a brass one looking for about the same thing just made of hard plastic
Fatman
I'd call Hagens and ask them if a plastic one is available, Now that I've seen it I know what it is and I've never seen one in plastic. Hagens would be able to tell you. Fatman
now thats a fish
This may work?? Barlows Tackle Shop: Browsing Skirt Umbrellas - Clear - 014 I've seen something different, but I'm having a prob. remembering where I saw them...not sure if they're plastic. I know they're not brass. I'll look tonight. Eric
ROWINGADUBAY
I ordered some of the umbrella"s today just to try them out . I also ordered a slip jig mold that has a round collar to hold on the skirts I guess I could use the 1/8 oz size backward so the wieght will hide behind the skirt
now thats a fish
Paintsniffer, (cool name) The info is outa Hagen's 2009 cat.: "freshwater slip floats" was what I was trying to remember (pg. 156). I also found something called "trolling fly tubes" (pg. 112) Really don't know anything about either one. * * I lived in Mosinee for a spell (papermill sniffer) I would try to get on Lac Du Bay as much as poss.
