Celticav
I started using these hooks for soft plastics last year, I see they have put a sickle model out for a jig hook now. Is anyone molding these and how are they working for you? JIM

siebler_custom_baits
Stamina makes a wormnose jig with this styl hook but the hook is a VMC Barbarian. I like them. This is the styl head i am sending for most people in the trade.
Celticav
yeah, I have tried Stamina's Barbarian jig hook and like them too, wish they would offer one with a 4 or 5/0 hook, JIM

jigmaster
I believe that I could do some worm nose jigheads with that style of hook in them, if anyone is interested. It would seem to me, if you had that style of hook for a jig/pig combo, that the trailer may tend to ride up on the curve of the hook. May get in the way of a hookset. I've not tried them, just an observation. Owner makes a similar hook, that is available in 4/0 and 5/0. If anyone is interested, I can give a quote on bulk in that wormnose head. Let me know Jigmaster
Fat Ratz
I have some of those jig hooks but have not had time to pour any jigs yet. Hope to pour a few maybe next week and will let you know what I think.
Celticav
Well, I am really impressed with them myself. The physics of that shape almost gaurantee the fish WILL be coming to the boat and they are cheaper than alot of the others on the market but still have alot of the same features like a chemically sharpened hook, etc. I do agree with you jigmaster that it might on some trailers, but maybe not others...I just need to test-drive them and see. Shoot me a PM on pricing a 100 of those ones you mentioned in 3/16 or 1/4oz with 4/0 hooks and we will talk about it. And Fat Ratz I will be intrested in getting some of yours too, let me know if you get around to molding them and what all it will take to get a few of yours this way... I saw the jigs of yours that Chirmy posted and am still chomping at the bit for some of my own! JIM
