190dcr
I would like to make some swim baits in a pearl blue silver glitter like Yamamoto's color # 031, pearl blue lg silver flake. I'm coming up with bad colors and wasting a lot of plastic. Please, anyone have any ideas? I have tried pearl blue powder, Calf. blue and white liquid from lure craft. Thanks, TimD. Richard Prager
Smoke Blue Pearl ready made in liquid is one of my favorites. It is available from M-F Manufacturing Co., Inc. - 817- 281-9488 / Fax 817-281-9498
190dcr
Thanks, I went searching and found what you just told me about and came back here to tell what I found. TimD.
Richard Prager
You will like it, for sure.! Just a word of caution.....don't get it too hot too fast or it will tend to scorch. You will know because the "smoke in the color" will get a bit amber. The same goes with all of M-F's smoke pearl colors.
Pitbull Baits
I haven't tried M-F 's pearls are they any good or is it just a couple of them that are good.
Fishous
I can't get a real good look at the color from Yamamoto's catalog, and haven't seen them in person, but it looks a lot like a color I mixed the other day using pearl blue powder and marine blue colorant. I didn't use any glitter though.
