I heat the heads with a torch, dip them in the paint, and then hang them in an old toaster oven to "cure". But I can't remember what temp. I set the toaster oven at, or for how long. Help! walleye warrior Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 i bake mine in the toaster oven for 20 minutes @350* , then i dip them and bake them again for another 20 minutes. it takes a little more time but the results are great. Second, do you find double dipping makes the paint job stronger? I have to confess that I usually lose a jig before the powder coat comes off, and, if it chips, I touch it up with a sharpie.
