Gloomisman
What are you guys using to coat over these to keep the eyes on? I got some eyes from one of the site sponsers and I figured they were not waterproof, but I tried anyway. I need something to coat them. Thanks

maltrout
I have used epoxy in the past, but now I just put a coat of clear nail polish over the eyes. I will lose the jig way before the eyes fall off.
reeves
I'm with maltrout, clear nail polish is the fastest and cheapest way to go. Give it a try, it works great!
Gloomisman
the clear nail polish doeant chip?
reeves
The nail polish has a little brush applicator in the bottle. Apply a drop of clear polish to the top of the eye. The polish will actually run down to the base of the eye and encapsulate the 3-D eye. Actually in a place that is hard to get at for it to chip. Never had any problems with it. Like I said earlier, give it a try, can't loose anything while you could gain a good method.
TeamBacklash
I use DevCon 2 Ton epoxy and it works great. I just bought a set of "Kids Brushes" from Hobby Lobby, something like 100 brushes for $3.99 and they work perfect for applying the epoxy thin. I stick the eyes on and that's the first place I start when applying the epoxy. Below are a few jigs I just finished last night. Good luck, and let's see some pics when you get them.
