cz75b
I wonder if you could easily modify the Erie Jig Mold to this configuration?
Fatman
That mold comes up on ebay frequently. You'd have a hard time modifying the erie jig mold to that config, plus you'd be trimming a lot of lead Fatman
cz75b
You are right, that mold is on eBay frequently but I disagree, the mod could be done and if a few dozen were needed, I think the lead trimming could be minimal....as I recall the orientation of the jig cavities is the same as the in-line spinner, the only lead trimming might be where the jig hook eye would be missing and that would pinch off with your fingernail.....and this is a tackle making forum and the folks here quite clever...one needs a sense of adventure....and no molds are on eBay right now and lately they have been going for lots.... kelly
Live Bait Erie Jig JNE-5-A I would just add the eye to the front of this mold. Its easier to do than you think. Plus you would have a multipurpose mold. There is no collar on this mold. If you already file the top of the jig it takes half of a stroke to get rid of the molded lead eye.
