the greek
About how long until you can remove newly poured baits from a two piece aluminum mold? I have a bunch of water putty and pop molds but was wondering if the aluminum ones were any different at all?
nova
Not a lot differant as far as time for removing baits. Like any other mold; the more you pour at one time; the hotter the mold will get. And that makes the bait removal time a little longer. www.novalures.com
Zbass
X2 on what Nova said. One thing I do notice with the aluminum is that the outside of the mold can feel hot but the lure is cool enough to remove. The aluminum will disperse the heat a little faster than DWP. Ed Brabant
I put mine on a granite surface plate with a fan blowing air across the mold. between the granite and air flow I can pour a swimbait and remove it an around 2-3 minuets.
