Ogajiga
Serving the same function as wire coil keepers either molded in or clip on does anyone know where to get some? Perhaps a mfg. who can make them? Thinking that a plastic spike keeper would be quicker to poke into a bait than a screw in coil.
zx202guy
I have a bunch out of paper clips. Just took the time to hand bend them and put them in the mold. The mold I put them in is a silicone mold so there is some forgivness on the size.
Ogajiga
Thanks for the suggestion. Reminds me of when I was a kid using bent paper clip guides for "rods" to go with sewing thread spool "reels". But, as a commercial caster I need the keepers pre-made by the thousands. zx202guy
Maybe check with BAttlefield Wire out of MO. They make the the spinnerbait/buzzbait wires. No Idea if they custom jobs or not....maybe if the volume was there?
Ogajiga
Thanks again, but my needs would be for lighter than metal weight poly or nylon construction. But, if metal is the only option I'll check with them.
