bdbone
I would like ten or so to start with maybe 25?
Rob Olling
You would have to reel a 3/4 buzzbait so fast even with the largest blade that you would be missing fish. The reaction strikes will be viscious, but you will probably only catch one out of ten. When I switched from 1/2 to 3/8 my catch increased 10 fold. My luck with buzzers has always been with the slowest speed that will give you a nive plop plop plop sound. I have thought about trying 1/2 with a big plastic 3 blade prop. bdbone
I would use these in open water fishing for wipers. At the particular lake I fish for them at, they congregate around a sunken island and the distance would be helpful. I am primarily a large/smallmouth basser but, seeing a 10 plus wiper smash a topwater is awesome.
Rob Olling
Whats a wiper? Sounds like my nephew doing #2 in the woods for the first time.
bdbone
A wiper is a hybrid fish, crossing a striped bass and a white bass.
