wvmtman
What is the best ways to trim the flashing (over fill) on one piece molds?
gone2long
I use an exacto knife with a chisel blade, its about 1/2" wide and flat I also use a mounted magnifier with light, works great. Of course the more practice the less flashing but I'm sure you know that one already.
Husky
I'm just coming back to pouring, but I found the roller cutters that are sold at sewing shops, are quite excellent! They look like a small Pizza Cutters. They come in 2 sizes, get the bigger one, it has more cutting edge and will last considerably longer. The Blades are replaceable. I've seen those in the Dollar Store. I'll have to get one when I get my shop back in operation. www.novalures.com

That'll extend the life of the blade, considerably. They're so efficient and easy to control, you'll be thrilled you went with one!
JDBaits
If your using an alum mold just press the flashing up against the edge of the mold cavity before you pull the bait
