u63405 Posted January 30, 2004 Report Share Posted January 30, 2004 Kevin, I'm not exactly sure how Mr. Dees does his scales but you can use anything from an xacto knife handle (the piece with the diamond texture) to a mac-z-scaler (www.taxidermy.com - look under products - scale tipping supplies - scale texturing tools). it's a lil' expensive for such a small tool but the scale testuring is phenomenal. hope this helps!
