ROWINGADUBAY
I asked the same question a while back the metal ones are called skirt bodies and they make plastic ones called naked bait slip floats you get buy both from HAGENS but if you have lead melting equipment I would highly recomend that you orde one of these molds from do-itDo-it Molds: Slip Jig Lure I use them for making a wide variety of baits a bunch of different ways plus you can use them as a slip sinker or make small bottom bouncers but for making in lines I use them backwards so the lead is hidden under the bucktail or flashabou it is nice to have the option of adding extra wieght if you want to get a little deeper and the mold is only about thirty dollars I wish I would have had this mold a long time ago I would have saved a ton of money on skirt bodies and other sinker molds I would not have needed But as far as tying flashabou I find it easier to use a rubber collar and wrap over that with a strong thread I use four pound fireline but I have used just the rubber collar with a small zip tie over it and those are still ok after two seasons of hard fishing at least the ones that didn't get thrashed buy a big ski anyways hope I helped George
