I am right outside Cincinnati and was wondering if anyone knows the area well for fishing. I usually have a spot for catfishing on the Ohio river, but I would like to catch some other fish with my lures as well. Sooo, anyone know any decent spot for hybrid, striper, sauger etc..? daveh Posted July 27, 2009 Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 i live in cheviot,oh right outside cincy. i mainly fish for bass in indiana. i have heard that sauger and strippers being caught on the ohio. the indiana side. you can put in at tanners creek. also go to a site called indiana info. theres guys on there that may help. I actually caught a sauger while messing around with a swimbait while waiting for the catfish to bite. I would like to catch more thne catfish now hehe. Thanks again. spoopa Posted July 29, 2009 Report Share Posted July 29, 2009 If you want to try to get into some hybrids you can toss spinnerbaits or super flukes weightless and reel in stright with no jerks. Also Spooks catch em good in the fall. This is just what the wipers like at our local resavoir so maybe its different in your area.
