I agree with Zbass.You should use the #500.This keeps the walls from collapsing.If you want a more lively tail,dip in #502 first followed by a deep angle of #500,after a couple of minutes of cooling.The #502 tails will get ripped up more easily,and the thicker stiffer body willl maintain it's shape,but catching fish is my first priority.:twocents:

Thanks a lot for the info,i am going to get some 500

and use that but i will try the 502 this fall and winter

when the bite gets lite and river temps are 36-42

Fishlicker, Bears baits sells some good tube plastic as well. It's the Calhoun's brand. I've been using it a bunch for tubes and have had good results with it. I believe it will also be cheaper than the LC 500. Just my:twocents:, JIM
