Quality bucktails

I was wondering who has experience with the bucktails from Stamina Inc. and how the quality compares to other more expensive dealers. The reason I ask is because I have seen them range from $3.49 at Stamina to $3.99 at Barlows, $4.25 at Hagens, $3.89 at Janns Netcraft, to $5.50 at my local shop. By quality I mean consistency and length of hairs, as well as the texture of the hair.

are you talking dressed hooks or bodies? I like windells hooks or mepps hooks.bodies and most all other compnents i buy iget from rollie and helen. ialso always stop in there when i fish vilas co. wi. good luck!

I have been ordering from Stamina for over 10 years. Their tails are just fine for me.

Thanks I'll give them a try. Have you tried any of the others that I mentioned? I'm about to put in a pretty decent sized order and I don't want to be stuck with anything thats less than top quality.

I buy singles from BPS and Back Country Outfitters. I buy 2-3 dozen at a time from Stamina.
