capecodsmallie
Is green weenie a one color pour or a two color pour or can it be either one? Where did that color and the term green weenie originate from?
alsworms
Most green weenies are 2-color pours; usually a brown or amber brown top and light green bottom with various flakes. You can also reverse the colors to make a dark green weenie. Avocado & Brown; Amber Brown and lime are good mixes. You can make a simple single pour by mixing amber brown with green flake. The "weenie" is a smooth finesse worm and it was the first to become popular among all the western hand-pours. Once the natural green/brown mix was discovered to outfish most other colors, it became the hottest worm on the market. Hence the name "Green Weenie". Back then, it sold as well as (if not more so) than the Senko does today. Chris
