RayburnGuy Posted August 22, 2009 Report Share Posted August 22, 2009 If your a newbie like me and you use masking tape to cover the bill of the bait before painting, you might want to take the tape off before you apply your clear top coat. On two baits I didn't do this and the clear coat covered part of the tape where the bill meets the body. I had the dickens getting the tape off where the clear coat had covered it.
