jim45498
I use a fine point sharpie for the sig. I sign, use the hair dryer for a few seconds (not on my hair, just the bait) wait a minute, then use the dryer again and put on the D2T. Never had a problem after heat setting it. I found it to be the simple way for me.

foxbites
Sharpie fine point markers work fine with d2t, but smear when you use etex.
seamsea
Usually just monitor the going's on here but: I figured someone would chime in with color preserver for rod thread. So far I have not gotten any bleed with any pen unless I keep brushing it over and over. Not saying it won't run but I haven't made it yet except once I applied just after writing with a blue ballpoint and immediately brushing CP over and over. I did the same thing with just one brush and no bleed. I'm sure some of you build rods, surely you got some you can try. Academy has it if anyone is interested. I would be interested in the results since some of you seem to get to sign your name on a lot of baits.
spoopa
To not get bleed in my signatures I just shoot some createx clear over the bait and I have no problems, its easy and thin.... and it also works to lol. Jacob
Lure--Prof
Sharpie fine point markers work fine with d2t, but smear when you use etex. You'll find that this subject, and its solution was covered on page 3 of this thread a couple of times.
