Manuel
I am taking a plane trip to Idaho and have a half dozen lures I want to take to my nephew. My question is if I only have a carry on bag do you think they would stop me from carring them onboard? I was planing on traveling lite but I guess I could take one checked bag just for safety sake. Thanks
Vodkaman
call your carrier for confirmation, the answer if more than likely check-in. Those trebles really stand out on the Xray machine. I am very wary now, after my experience at Charles De Gaulle, Paris. I had finished a contract in Sweden and was travelling back to UK. Check-in at Goteburg was fine, but bad weather diverted me to Paris. I had minutes to make the next flight, but the mess of lures combined with my obnoxious attitude (frustration), caused them to do a detailed search, twice, causing me to miss my connection. It took 24 hours to get home, instead of the usual 3 hours. That was not the end of the saga. With all the flight changes and confusion, my check-in bags went missing for 3 days. Lessons learned: Check-in the hooks. Clearly label the baggage with destination addy. Always keep cool. Smile a lot. Dave
bladesandbaits
Remove the hooks and carry them on. I fly sevral times a year with bait samples and have no issues even overseas. Just remove the hooks. Regards, Blades
