bobothewizard
I poured some senkos last night and i was kind of winging the ingrediants. For some reason the last batch I made came out sticky, even after sitting overnight. Im wondering if I put too much softener in? Any suggestions? Richard Prager
If you mixed your plastic well enough, then too much softener is the culprit. If you reheat the plastic and add more salt to compensate, you should end up with some nice sticks.
bobothewizard
Cool thanks, I guess I can still use em. Im going to try and use a few tonight. Is there a normal ratio of softener to plastic when making senkos? Also I understand you can basically use any amount of salt based on the sink rate of the senkos but is there a normal ratio of salt to plastic also that you can base everything on? Once I think I figure that out I can kinda make these senkos specifically the way I want. I just have to get the basics down.
pastorshane
Also not heating the plastic enough can cause this.
mikefishnfl
Im guessing everyone has their own recipe for sticks. I know ours is a little different. You can look at Del's website for a basic stick formula.
