Jordan Goehring
Hi guys! I'd like to give one of you more experience mold makers a challenge! As you can tell in the title, I want to see if you guys can make a Rage Tail Shad Mold. One or two piece mold maybe even both. Good luck guys! BTW The winner gets a homemade Rage Tail Shad Mold!!! Ps: I will try to make one some time next week when im not busying with tourneys.
Travis
I have never fished the bait but from the pictures it does't look difficult at all to mold. A muliple two cavity pop/durhams would not be difficult at all. Everything looks like it would pour well. Maybe a little venting in the tail and possibly have to enlarge the tail/body connection area just a little but shouldn't even have to do that. I have molds with much thinner appendages that pour fine and are made from durham's.

Jordan Goehring
I agree with the original baits/molds. But I fished a rage tail shad last week and I love it. I just wanted to see if it was hard to make because the way the tail is, it has waves and curves in it. Dave can you show pics of you 1 piece mold or explain it to me thanks! daveh
i could care less if anyone copys a bait. i use all of my own hand poured baits. some copys some not that i can see. copy or not i love pouring my own. i have some rage tail craw molds. there copys but hold up 10 to one on the store bought baits. i do not have the time to invent my own bait. and i say most baits on thr market are copys of each others or dang close. how much can you change a buzz frog or worm. even the guys that say there differant than others are not true. look at at your baits then compare them with big brand names. not much differance. nova
Dave and Longhorn I don't blame you. I said what I said and I believe what I believe and that's enough. If anything starts up from this; those that do will wind up playing with themselves. www.novalures.com
