Vodkaman
Here in Indonesia, we have drought conditions. My well has been dry for about a two weeks now. The water in my test tank (8'x4'x1.5') has saved me. I still have to boil everything. This is supposed to be a tropical climate! No rain for the last 2 months. About a month ago one lake we fish went up 16" in two weeks. I've been building a new barn and we are over 3 weeks behind in the construction because of the rain. www.novalures.com

BobP
Dave, I know where you're coming from. We First World citizens take potable water, electricity, and other amenities for granted. Living in less developed countries for awhile can be an eye opener!
LaPala
Dave did you use lead while testing lure? Elementary lead does not dissolve in water under normal conditions (20oC, and pressure = 1 bar). It may however occur dissolved in water as PbCO3 or Pb(CO3)22-. ..... now did you say you were using ground water....
