Fernet
Lads, what do you think is the best (industrial)tool for making closed loops for inliners thats out there?
Fatman
I'm pretty cheap so I have the one from Netcraft that I bought years ago and it's still puttin out the spinners. But alot of the guys here have the Boggs tacklemaker and there are several in the Stamina catalouge. Might use the anniversary to get the wife to get me a boggs though. Fernet
I found a demonstration video of the Boggs tacklemaker. It looks like a fine tool. Thanks for the tip Fatman.
kyratchethead
I also have the Netcraft Wire Tool and have had it for years and it still works perfect. I have begun making the front eye on my inline spinners using just a pair of needlenose pliers than produces a "half circle" eye. This seems to help some with the retreive of the spinner and keeps the fishing line from sliding too far up the eye. The fish show no preference for one eye over the other - I just like the looks of the "half circle" eye better.
