flippinfool
I am thinking of adding these two molds to my assortment. 1] The Arky Jig- model # ARK-3-AFC 2] Hidden eye brush jig- model# BSH-3-SA I was wondering how these molds pour. With the hidden eye brush jig mold, does anyone have problems with lead in the jig eye? That's the only potential problem I see with that mold. If anyone uses these, please let me know if there are any negatives. Thanks, flip
Jig Man
I have the Arke and have had it for several years. There are no pouring problems but I don't much like the hook so I don't use it a lot now days.
cadman
flippinfool, I have both of these molds. On the Arky no problem at all. On the brush jig, since I pour harder lead, the jig after it's poured has a tendency to stick to the cavity a bit. Also I personally feel that the 1/4 oz version of this jig is too top heavy with the hoook it calls for. Just my worth.
Basseducer
One more thing. I tape the eyes on my jigs before I dip in powder, since the eye is recessed on the brush jig I can't tape it. I have to spray the powder on and it works just fine.
