mainbutter
I've seen a couple, they seem to be the same design as hard material carved jointed swimbaits. Does anyone fish with them? How do they perform? Do they get torn up easy? Do you prefer boot tail/curly tail action with your soft lures because of this? I'm just curious if it is worth pursuing jointed soft plastic swimbaits as a project this coming winter. Target fish will be pike and musky, maybe bass, heck might even try it for walleye. Long Lake Lures
I make 'em, but don't fish them very often. The LC 5" lure has a nice smooth action and also works well as a fluke type bait. Send me a PM with your address and I'll send you some. stankdog
I have used the Lure Craft 5x891 and love it! Fishing for snook and redfish on a small 1/8 jig head and just swimming it works very well for me. I also have rigged it weightless with a heavy guage dropshot style hook with success. Pours fairly easy, two color pours can be tough, just get the plastic hot hot! 5x891 - LureCraft It does tear easily , but thta's one reason I pour my own! Cheap and remelt!
