The Dutchman
Does anyone have the Bears Baits 3.75" craZcraw injection mold? How does it work and how does the bait swim?
Zbass
the mold works great. One of the easiest to inject of the ones I have. The bait itself has some of the properties of the rage claw and the speed craw combined. Looks great in the water and has plenty of action. check it out, you will like it. The Dutchman
Dave, please let me know how you make out. I haven't used an injector yet but I really want to try it. I use a lot of Zoom Ultravibe craws and this mold would be just right if it works like the ultravibe. Thanks, Joe
wildtail97
Dave, what 2 color injector did you order?
96dak
bears new one i believe Two Color Injector [TCI100] - $99.50 : Bears Baits, Soft Plastic Pouring Supplies
gone2long
I read a nice thing about Bear's 2 color injector is that if you purchase 2 additional nozzles for the small injector you now have two single color units as well, those guys over there are the bomb when it comes to injection molds - its killin me as I don't have the cash now. 96dak
that is correct mrbilky, the 2 colour injector is 2 small injectors with modified nozzles and an adaptor. if you buy 2 small injector nozzles you have the best of both being able to shoot lams and single colours. HAWGHUNNA
Does the colors of the laminates in the craws pour consistent (half and half) in all 4 baits while injecting with the 4 cavity mold ? I have been using the 1 cavity and really like this craw. I'm thinking of getting the 4 cav. and 2 color injector myself.
bear21211
No I do not think the 4 cavity will give you consistent results with laminates. But I will try it and see. I have not tried it yet.

bear21211
Hawghunna I tried the 4 cavity with the 2 color Injector. It does not do a real good job on the 4 cavity mold. If the baits were on the same side of the sprue like the 5 cavity stik it would do fine . but with them on seperate sides of the runner it does not work well. Sorry Bear

HAWGHUNNA
Anyone got a suggestion on packaging these dudes without torturing the clawz. Laminated bags just don't seem to be a good fit Clam Shells were my next thought, but the source that I checked was really expensive. Thanks. Richard Prager
They should do just fine in bags. Just squirt some scent or worm oil on them before packaging them. It wouldn't be any different then curl or ribbon tail worms.
Zbass
I use lam bags for mine. just be careful how you lay them in there and the y should be fine.

There is A lot of hydrilla and Creek Chubsters are common, and there are some Holden Shiner. I'm willing to pay someone that can make me a lure to fit these conditions. Any Suggestions?
