Celticav
FFT posed this question in the hard baits forum and it made me curious as to what you guys used on lead heads. I have been using createx primer and often have mixed results, but one thing is for certain; the paint doesn't look near as brite without it. Fat Ratz
I found a great product from the Eastwood Company. It is a self-etching primer. It comes already thinned for airbrush use and will not come off the lure when dried. Dries to the touch almost immediately and I have not had any problems with paint adhesion when using it. I use it on all lead products I paint.
