Jig Man
I make most everything that I use except tubes and brush hogs. My normal tube supplier runs out this time of year and doesn't reorder until about March. I'm getting kind of tire of this and he has gone up 2 or 3 times this year. I normally go through 2-300 tubes in a year's time and only use 4 colors all in 4". What say you tube makers, should I get or make some molds and do my own or buy from one of you guys? I use what I call melon/pepper but the store calls it green/pumpkin, smoke/red, black/neon, and pumpkin/seed.
squigster
Make your own. You dont even need a mold. Get 1/8" diameter rods and dip your own. Probably the easiest bait to make yourself. My brother is a machinist and made all my rods but lurecraft sells them Takes a little practice but relatively easy,

dynamite
I have seen a prototype that Bear will be making. Using his injector you can shoot a tube and there is no cutting. It will have a variety of options including how many pieces in the skirt. He should have in online for sale very soon. You can read about it if you search his forum. Jig Man
I have made a few in the past but never quite got the hang of it. I'll check out Bear's setup. I am sure it will be light years above my home made injection walleye baits. Thanks for the input guys.
Zbass
The injection tube mold is now on line at Bears. It is a very innovative design and no tail cutting needed.
maltrout
The last few years I havent been fishing tubes as much as I used to but they are vey easy to make. Bojons video is a great way to learn, after watching it you'll be able to make some sweet tubes and pump them out quickly.
