LaSynapse
Hello from France to all of you guys!! I registered a few time ago, but because there's a very long time that I haven't wrote in english, I only read, and not participate to discussions... And by advance, please be indulgents with my possible "writing" mistakes... school il far away from me now!! So to tell something about me, I'm 31 years old, passionate fisherman and craftman, and I just come to jump in the wonderful world of swimbait fishing. I live in the South-West of France, in a little town named Albi, near Toulouse... So, the reason why I ask your help guys, is that I'm looking for airbrush paintings, but for softbaits. I don't mean painting to color "in the mass", but painting "of surface", like the paintings that people who make "paddle-tail tubes" or swimbaits like the "hudds" use, to give details to the bait... In fact I want to be able to change the colors of some of my lures so that the colors correspond better to "baitfish" present in waters which I fish, or still to be able to repaint lures the painting of which is damaged (for swimbaits)... Vodkaman
Welcome to TU philip. Your English is easily understood, so no problem. Your question has been discussed a few times. Try an advanced search on the words AIRBRUSH SOFT and select the soft plastics forum to limit the search. This will show 15 results. This should get you started in the right direction. Green_Fingers
Salutations de la Suisse! Phil, there is a Swedish guy who paints his soft baits, Magnus I think his name is, just look in the gallery he recently made some really cool BIG soft baits for pike, which are painted with a scale pattern. I asked him if he got the paint in Europe as I had also been looking for it here (but gave up a while ago!), he said he could not find it in Europe either, however, had successfully ordered it from the US. Maybe its time to plan a bass fishing holiday in the USA and pick up paint and suplies whilst your there!! If you need furtehr explinations "en francais", send me an email: lemanlures@hotmail.com Cheers, Simon Edited October 2, 2009 by Green_Fingers typo
