bobG
I presently pouring large plastic salt water baits using #500 formula. I'd like to toughen them up a bit. Has anyone had experience using the hardener? Does it compromise the color, pouring qualities, or overall integrity of the bait in any way? tia
JSC
Make sure you stir it in real well as it is real thick. It will make the pouring a little slower as it really thickens it (depending on how much you use). You will need to "play with it" to get it like you want it. JSC If it thickens the hot plastic, and makes it more difficult to pour, is it important to make sure the plastic is as hot as possible between pours? Is there a danger of scortching?
