jimcline
I think this is just a type of cyanoacrolate glue, (super glue). I've used a brand called Zap-A-Gap that is I'm sure very similar. I call it Super super glue, it's good stuff. Hope this helps,JIM
jrav
It's a CA glue like Jim said, I use it myself and love it for jig/flytying. Now this may not apply in recent times, but years ago I was told by the owner of a hobby shop that most CA glue is made by very few companies. So much of what's on the market is branded differently, yet has a common source which uses different formulas (consistency, dry time, etc). Reason given was that one or two companies can pretty much produce all that is needed for market demand. Never had a bad batch and it all works very well regardless of labeling, the Loctite seems to have the best cap/bottle and comes in various sizes for cheap that don't dry out when used occasionally. I get mine (Loctite brand) at Walmart and have yet to have the tip clog or cap stick, it's a good design. The little pink capped bottle of different branding form Hobby Lobby required pliers to get open after some use and the tip clogged horribly. Guess the glue is all the same, the choice is in the bottle here! Betting the accelerator would probably work with any other brand, but don't take that as an absolute. Ed Brabant
Give Barry a call at Winners Circle Pro Shop 978-453-9925. I work part time for him drilling bowling balls. We use a CA glue called Grip Loc. It has been formulated so the tip dosen't clog. There is a red lable that is a bit thicker and a green lable that is thinner. A 1oz bottle is $9.95.
